Do you think that technology in the classroom takes away from a child's ability to be creative and to be interactive with other children? Does technology cause children to be anti-social in person?

1. Find a blog that justifies your answer

  1. This is an interesting question that I think we don't truly know the answer to yet. "Digital natives" as this computer born generation is called is still growing up. I think there is potential for harm and an equal potential for positive results from the use of technology. It is easier to connect with friends and those connections can be maintained all day every day. On the other hand, the use of technology decreases the amount of face-to-face- time required so some social skills may deteriorate. According to a poll on www.edutopia.org, about 40% think it helps kids connect, while 50% think it is harmful to their social skills. I think most children probably use technology to enhance their social connections, not replace them.

  2. Hey May,

This is right along with what Dr. Strange is looking for but it would help if you would have found a website for an example. Good thought on finding a blog to back up the readers thoughts.
