Tom Johnson's Adventures in Pencil Integration
This was a really great post! T
here should be more teachers who think the way Tom Johnson thinks! Blame is no way to handle any situation, and a teacher should know, practice and understand this concept better than most. Blame has many effects on people, and none of them are positive effects. As a teacher you must do more than just "try" to understand and know your students. I think many teachers say to themselves, "I only have them for a year and then their gone." What these teachers aren't understanding is that there are too many times that "bad" teachers or teachers who simply don't care leave a major impression on those students and in turn these students hold that experience with them forever in some cases or they hold it with them until they are blessed with a good teacher who shows them the light.
